And finally, this just in: it appears that Dar Williams may be engaged (to a man, of course). Apparently she is now doning a diamond ring on her finger the size of a Buick. Not much is known about Dar's fiance except that he's in construction and is "very cute" according to sharonG. It is also reported that Dar may be moving to New York City in the very near future. How ya gonna keep em down on the farm, after they've seen Peoria. At least the ticket I bought seems to indicate as such. I thought I already was. Anyway, in the continuing saga of how I'll never actually get to meet Rockin Ron D, despite living less than 30 miles apart and going to a lot of the same shows, we were at the Brokerage for Lucy as well. This was as good as I've ever seen her. She really seemed to be having fun, her voice was fine, and she had an audience full of her fans, most of whom were familiar with her music. Good show. You make the call. Why wait for next week? The Cry, Cry Cry tour bus, while not sporting the groovy mod colors and warning about a nervous mom driving, had a vcr and I seem to remember Lucy talking about watching Waiting for Guffman during the tour. Based on that I would have to cast my vote for the fully equipped late 20th century, post modern neo-folkie Cry Cry Cry tour bus. The Partridge Family bus might have had an AM radio... "Otra" is "other" in Spanish. Guess it depends on what you're trying to get across. Richard content: I bet Richard's Spanish is improving! Is this a track from the upcoming live CD? I lost my web stream before I could hear the credits for it. The guitar/mandolin break at the end kicks ass in the best blue grass fashion so I guess it's Larry. I have all three of their cd's and they are great. Also on this cd are: Slaid Cleves, David Grey, Shelby Lynn, Buddy & Julie Miller, Indigo Girls, Phil Roy, etc., etc. It is a compilation of live performances at the station during the past year. There are no credits on the cd as to who was playing with richard and I did hear it "live" when richard was at the station, but can't remember who was with him. virginia ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 May 2001 21:31:54 -0400 From: "Norman A.
