Thanks for the info on the shows. One of these days when I am financially solvent again I will actual get to do more than read about them! She's in Pain and I'm in Spain? What a great song title. Have never heard it. Sounds a riot. Tom ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 May 2001 09:38:58 EDT From: RockinRonD@aol.com Subject: [RS] Oh. Sandy. Actually, it was our very own Ron Greitzer, during his monthly gig at the Cafe Regal (not the Regal Beagle) in Glen Rock, N.J. He did it before the actual show, during his warm-up, and with a bit of lyrical prompting from Isabel and I. It was splendid, nonetheless. Ron did just about everything in the Shindell catalog, with the possible exception of "She's In Spain' and 'I Need a Little More Vocal in my Monitor.' In addition, there were lots of songs by many of our other favorites. I know I've mentioned it before, but if you live nearby you really should get there to see Ron. We had a lot of fun. Jim (Jcolb) and Cynthia were there as well, along with a friend whose name I am embarrassed to have forgotten. At the end of the show, Ron decided he neeeded a blues name. We all kicked it around for a while, but couldn't come up with anything definite. Here are a few suggestions: Slim Jim DADGAD Sightless Citrus Greitzer Vito 'The Beard' Cangeloni (o.k., more of a mob name than a blues name. I like it, though) Gene F. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 May 2001 17:47:39 -0400 From: Vanessa Wills Subject: [RS] Czar of the Guitar? Long Song Ron? Raunchy RonG? (you might have to spice up your rep a little to suit this one, Ron!) OK . . . I know, these are terrible. ;-) I give up! Peace, Love, and Mischief, Vanessa, who still doesn't think she can do much worse than RonD's bad beach puns. :-P - -- "Throw out the radio and take down the fiddle from the wall." -Andrew Nelson Lytle, 1930 ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 May 2001 18:44:36 EDT From: Rongrittz@aol.com Subject: [RS] SHE'S IN SPAIN . . . << She's in Pain and I'm in Spain?
