I will be checking voice and e-mail, but if you should need to reach me immediately, please feel free to call me at 818-772-2108. Thanks! In this case, if I were Brandy I wouldn't really want my home phone number posted up there for the world to see in perpetuity. I mean I know you CAN get them pretty easily if you're looking, but I just don't think it's a good idea. Can we get those messages deleted? On a less lofty note, waht about those embarassing messages you wish you'd never posted? Any way to petition for removal? >> Sounds like a good idea. While we're not going to go back and delete messages people never really meant to send (geez, next thing you know, people will be claiming they accidentally voted for the wrong candidate in a Presidential election or something, ya know?), if Tom Neff (who manages the archives) is reading this (which I'm guessing he is), I'll ask that when Brandy turns off her auto-reply feature, he go in and delete those four or five messages from the archives. Shouldn't be a problem. Good call, Lisa. We basically took October off to follow the Mets' roller coaster ride in the playoffs and World Series, but got back into it with David Wilcox and Patty Larkin last Friday. Last night we brought the whole crew (Isabel and I, and our kids, A.J., 17, and Katie, 14) to see Eddie From Ohio at the Outpost in the Burbs. I know I'm kind of late getting to the EFO party, but we really liked them at Falcon Ridge this year. All of their CD's are good, and keep getting better, but they are at their best live. Stephen Fearing opened, and we really enjoyed his set as well. Next week, Dave and Tracy in Princeton. It seems a few listers will be going, so we need to team up and bring the necessary provisions in case Ron G. faints, or suffers some other swoon-related mishaps. Pillows, blankets, cold compresses, smelling salts, all that stuff. Se, it was under my pillow, and when I woke up in the morning, my mother told me to look under there to see if the tooth fairy had come by to get my tooth and sure enough... For those interested, I really like Kerry Bernard's Sarah Harmer CD "You Were Here." This girl can write and I do love her voice--and it defintely goes beyond folk. On the other hand, Kathryn Williams's "Dog" CD, while kind of soothing and intriguing, wasn't what i hoped it would be. And I've a feeling she's a lesbian and is singing to another woman in most of the songs, which is a little difficult to listen to...if you're a hetero guy, I mean. Or am I wrong about this? Anybody? Anyone who can be described as appealing to what was referred to as the "Julie Miller meets Gillian Welch crowd" sounds good to me. Can anyone report whether this would be a wise investment? And for you western-Massachusetts types (like myself) Kasey is playing the Iron Horse this tuesday, and i think tickets are only $8.
