  Any chance it could be Dido?  Not sure if she's a singer/songwriter or if 
she has a new album out, but she is pretty terrific--kinda in the Tracey 
Thorn/Jill Sobule/Jane Siberry mold, but her voice is heavenly.  Couldn't 
characterize her as folk though by any means.
