Perhaps you can look on this as divine intervention? That because of the mysterious clearing of the highway, the Sister had little traffic to delay her further and got to the prison in the nick of time. I just brought home my brand new Martin D-15! First thing I did was tune to DADGAD and play Calling The Moon and Next Best Western. It's amazing how much better it sounds than my $150 Yamaha. I also wanted to thank all of those people who recommended Dave and Tracy, I finally bought Tanglewood Tree this weekend and it hasn't left my sight since Saturday. They will coming to Chicago (Hinsdale actually), but the same weekend that I am going to St Paul to see RS & the Nields. I will have to suffice with the live Folkstage on WFMT on 10/28 until they return. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 04 Oct 2000 00:03:06 -0400 From: "Norman A. And then, some people are following the Gore-Bush debate. ;-) I just bought Paul Simon's new CD, YOU'RE THE ONE. I've just gotten a chance to play it. One song, "The teacher", reminds me little of RHYTHM OF THE SAINTS (I just realized that doesn't make a good acroymn). Larry Campbell plays pedal steel on this song as well as on "Look at this".
