Not sure who watches over this list, but this is the kind of thing Tom Neff used to bounce back to people on the Dar-list with a message along the lines of "please, this is a family list!" But alas it appears that Mr. Neff has holed up in a heavily armed bunker somewhere saying, "They can have the rights to darwilliams.com when they pry it from my cold dead fingers." ;-) I wonder if Balling the Goon would make it to the dar-list if it were submitted now. I'm certainly not going to take that risk! Oh yeah, in spite of being taken aback by it, BTG made me laugh. It was a great parody, but now it's stuck in my head! Almost as much as Dancing Queen! He was really great! Talking about messing up lines though, he did screw up "Arrowhead" and practically started over! He was friendly, talking about misheard lyrics, like his son with hey duck, and his daughter thinks "Abulitia" (sp?) is about her grandma! He made a joke about "Best Western" him trying to make eye contact with the toll booth person and getting a move along sign for his trouble! Beth Amsel was the warm up act and I have to say she has the most beautiful voice! She was very friendly and has made my husband and me new fans of hers! That's it for now! As one of the people who "watches over the list," please be aware that the list is unmoderated, meaning that neither Sally nor I see the posts before the rest of you do. However, you can rest assured that should something like this happen again, appropriate measures will be taken, and let's just leave it at that. That seems pointless, but so does sitting there on the porch waiting for the storm. Maybe that IS the point? Maybe the wife has left him, and the "storm" isn't an actual storm, but a metaphor for everything else crashing down upon him?
