I already know that the September 14th show at the Bottom Line at which they're opening for Richard will be the best show I've ever seen, the venue's lousy, overpriced food and refusal to take credit cards nothwithstanding. There's no official Carter/Grammer list (yet) of course, but I thought I'd share this message that came from their announcement list. You can sign up for it at their website which is www.daveandtracy.com. And definitely go check out the Dirty Linen article. And finally, for any guitar players out there, I've got a bunch of transcriptions to their songs (plus a bunch of stuff from Dar Williams' new CD, "The Green World," on my site, so check that out, too. http://members.aol.com/rongrittz/page/chords.htm RG ____________ Hi Everybody, To all the new folks on our mail list, a heartfelt welcome. We've just returned from a whirlwind tour of the East Coast, where we played the Falcon Ridge & Winterhawk festivals, sold out the Tin Angel in Philly, set an attendance record at Gary Martin's Music By The Bay in Massachussetts, and debuted at the IOTA Cafe in Alexandria VA. One of the highlights of our tour was a two-hour interview with Vin Scelsa, legendary host of "Idiot's Delight" on WNEW 102.7 FM in New York City. I understand Vin's show has a listenership of about 400,000 people. Our segment with Vin can be heard right here, right now if you visit http://wnew.com/audio/scelsa/index.html. In other news, you can find a transcription of the song "When I Go" featured in the most recent issue of SingOut! Magazine, and there is a great double-review of our recordings in the latest issue of Dirty Linen (Aug/Sep 2000). Check out the review online at http://www.dirtynelson.com/linen/89/ and click on "Recording Reviews..." Be advised that the print version has a big picture and is much more impressive looking, though! Things are really going well for the duo and we know we'd be nowhere without our dedicated friends and fans. Thanks to all for your continued enthusiasm and support of our work. Hope to see you soon! With best wishes, Dave & Tracy ____________ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 Aug 2000 21:19:34 -0400 From: "Michaela O'Brien" Subject: [RS] Second show Sept 10 A second show has been added to this Richard concert appearance: SUN, SEPT 10 THE MANSION SERIES (Morrison Hall, Orange County Comm.
