She NAILED the song (Hi RonD!!), much to the audience's (and my) delight! Hmm. . . well, Kerry, since you ask, and since RonG has apparently made the first step on the path towards enlightenment in the striking-ness of Mr. Campbell, let me put it this way--Is the Pope Catholic? Is Dick Cheney a Republican? That boy is *fine*. Dark and mysterious good looks, long, straight black hair that splashes onto his shoulders like an ebony waterfall, and a smile that competes with the spotlights to light up the stage. Word on the street is he plays pretty well, too. ;-) Vanessa, who is making all the necessary arrangements for spinsterdom as we speak. I liked some of her songs (e.g., the one about the moon -- no, not "Calling the Moon") but not others. I suspect she, like Richard, was a little frazzled as well. She did not get in until 6:30, half an hour before her set started, and had to do rushed sound check while the Iron Horse was rapidly filling up. Speaking of "Calling the Moon", there were several requests for Richard to do this at his encore. He chose "Sin City" instead. Let me know when you know and I'll pick up a ticket for you (save the service fee, besides I want to pick up a ticket for the Ellis Paul/Christopher Williams show the next week.) I got my ticket last Tuesday. They said that they still had tickets for both shows. Didn't sound like a sell out like his show at the Point. Also, if you need a place to stay, I'm not that far from Philly and have extra rooms. Sharon Goldberg has stayed here... Good luck with the job....
