Just a little note about Beth. I was working at the coffeehouse at Skidmore, burning out on so much music that sounded exactly the same, and also burning out in general. But I had booked Beth to open for Salamander Crossing and Catie Curtis in our annual folk fest because I liked the tape (it didn't sound that great in my stereo, but my tape deck sucked). I had no idea just how good she was, or how sweet. In one performance, she re-awoke my love of this music. How many people can you say that about?
