Harry Chapin is no longer with us, but there hasn't been anyone since him whose concerts left me with the feeling I had after seeing Richard perform. Harry took everyday, human issues and developed them into incredible story songs. I think any fan of Richard's would enjoy checking Harry Chapin out. Rhino records recently released a box set "Harry Chapin, Story of a Life," which is a wonderful picture of his music and who he was. If your pocketbook doesn't allow that type of investment, check out "Greatest Stories Live." I'd love to hear from anyone who sees the same similarity I do.
