Can you just STOP? I think what it's really about is a kind of spillover of disenchantment with Dar's current management. I only subscribe to the Dar digest and delete it most days so I'm not up on all that but from other comments here I think that's really it. But in that case, perhaps the discussion should be taking place on the Dar list! Anyone who checks musi-cal will see Richard listed among the top 10 requested acts. Any word on Argentina, when/what it's like/ etc.? I keep thinking about his little Westchester County kids, little Ana going from daycare/kindergarten in New York State to a totally different world. I assume they spoke spanish at home though. (Here my unspeakable ignorance, I assume in argentina it's a version of spanish? please forgive me! or a totally different language???) And do we know for a fact that Richard does? wouldn't it be funny if he somehow joined the latin invasion or whatever it is? lisa ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 22 Jun 2000 15:38:24 -0500 From: "Clary, John (CLRY)" Subject: RE: [RS] a request Lisa Davis must have been joking when she said: >>wouldn't it be funny if he somehow joined the latin invasion or whatever it is?<< I once said that it didn't matter to me what brand guitar Richard played, I'd still love his music. But if he ever appears on the same bill with Martin or Iglesias that will end my love affair for sure =) I bet this comment will get me in trouble with Elwestrand who said a while back that it would be really cool to hear some flamenco guitar and Latin dance rhythm on Richard's next record. j a c ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 22 Jun 2000 14:00:34 -0700 From: Lee Wessman Subject: RE: [RS] a request Richard doesn't seem like much of a dancer to me.
