Ewww...gives me the chills just thinking about it. Wait a minute...now that Ron G. has me thinking about it, is there any reason that the driver has to be a man? I'm going through the lyrics in my head, and it seems gender-neutral. As far as the others, 'May' stars Liam Neeson, and Samuel L. Jackson takes the lead in 'Ascent.' Norman, I have to disagree about the INS agent in "Fishing.' Dylan McDermott is too glamorous for that role, as I see it. I always sensed the image of a small person, physically and emotionally, using his job to achieve a sense of power - maybe a William H. Macy, in his 'Fargo' character. Meanwhile, casting directors search in vain to fill the role of 'the truck' in 'Kenworth of my Dreams.' Despite the terrible things the INS agent is doing, I sense a bit of humanity within him. I think having the agent be played (at least from the start) by someone who is sympathetic and maybe even a little glamourous ADDS something to the role. Next casting: Glenn Close as the widow in Reunion Hill. Norman ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V2 #116 ***********************************
