It is a charming CD recorded entirely in Tracy's kitchen! It's mostly just the 2 of them. The new album by Dave & Tracy "Tanglewood Tree" is available at our web site and is currently on sale for just $10!!! It's been getting rave reviews everywhewre.....I highly reccommend it. I love the INSIDE JOKE aspect to it. Kinda like working button holes on the sleeves of a custom-made suit where one is left open as a signal that the suit is bespoke. Only other bespoke wearers recognize it. Remember, Richard's own music and writing doesn't mean much to the masses either. What could be more appropriate? Having said that, I also love the idea of Shindell's List, even though that, too, is a bit esoteric in its own way. Both ideas are very clever and insider. Just perfect. The raw intimacy on When I Go (especially the title track) is amazing! And the fact that it was recorded in a kitchen gives me hope of recording some decent sounding tunes in my living room! Anyone go see Richard in King of Prussia this weekend? I missed it :-( But I saw him last year...I'm gonna try to see him in Philly in September. - -Evan http://home.earthlink.net/~egordon99/ Evan A. I had to be about 5 minutes late because I was working by my friends saved me a seat right up front in prime Richard view :) It was a miserable evening weather wise -- it was windy and chilly and off/on rainy but otherwise it was quite nice. Richard and Cheryl Wheeler both did somewhat abbreviated sets due to the weather. Richard mentioned his impending move to Argentina which got a lot of gasps and oh's from the audience. He actually seemed somewhat daunted by the whole thing. It was his last show as a citizen of the US and that somehow seemed to make him a bit sad -- at least it seemed that way to me. I didn't write a set list but I can tell you what I remember: Best Western Wisteria Are You Happy Now? Confession Transit Kenworth (I think, I could be confusing that with a dream :) Fishing Mary Magdalene And I think there was something else but I can't remember. I may have missed something between shivers. Cheryl Wheeler also put on a nice show -- she was a stich as usual. I really would love for her to make a live album with her funny songs and her banter - -- but we can all dream can't we?
