This list has been around since 1998 or so, and it is down to 150 email addresses, many of which are no longer active (and I do not mean they are not active participants on the list, I mean that the email addresses no longer exist). The Facebook group for Shindell fans, on the other hand, now has over 1200 members. And Richard has his own mailing list for any important news he wants to share. In the last year and half, this Shindell-list has generated a grand total of 17 posts . . . 13 of them by only two people. On the other hand, the list has become Spam Central, with me (as the administrator) receiving about a dozen non-Shindell related posts per DAY. So, I just wanted to let those of you who are still here know that as soon as I can figure out a way to keep the archives accessible, I am going to be shutting this place down.
