I agree with the "waste of time" comments and other nonsense that comes along with Facebook. That being said, it's simply a much better conversational tool vs. email. I wince a bit when people say "I'm not on Facebook" or "I'm not a Facebook" guy because: 1) You can simply join facebook! For free! 2) You can join anonymously or under an alias so you don't get friend requests from that idiot in high school you never wanted to hear from again. 3) You can join under your name, but not make yourself searchable or available for anyone else to friend. It can be a 1-way relationship. 4) Even Richard is on Facebook! So is Lucy Kaplansky and she updates her status often. I've enjoyed this forum, but it's clear that Facebook has much more adoption and sparks more interesting discussion. It's also simply more pleasing to manage and follow threads. I fully believe, in general, email (at least in the form we know it now) will die at some point in the future. There's really no use fighting it and I'd encourage everyone to join the Facebook discussions anonymously. Happy to help others get there as well. And when Facebook dies when something better comes along... we'll migrate there as well and people will hesitate to change away from FB. - -LK On Wed, Nov 18, 2015 at 1:47 PM, Howie wrote: > I'm also not on Facebook.
