Richard was amazed to walk into the artists area behind the main arena and hear "You stay here" being played to other artists - ----------------------- Thanks, Claire. That was great. Just last year, I discovered The Shrewsbury FF for the first time, when a friend of mine (Caroline Herring) played there. I wanted to watch her set on the internet, so I logged in to check things out. First, I was astonished with the audio and video quality! Keep in mind, that I'm watching from Nashville and the quality was WAY better than anything that I'd ever checked out here in the U.S. Then, while waiting for Caroline's set, I watched Show Of Hands play. I'm ashamed to say that I'd never heard of them until then. I was completely blown away by their amazing performance and songs! Since I'm a music collector, and listen to songwriters from all over Europe, the UK and beyond, it was quite a surprise to discover such a quality band that I'd never even heard of. A few months later, Richard played one of his very rare Nashville gigs, and I wanted to ask him about his experience there (at Shrewsbury) but forgot when our conversation drifted on to other subjects.
