Hey,

I'm starting poetry next week with my mainstream 9th graders. (No honors
kids...)

Can anyone think of an accessible Shindell song that would show the poetic
elements such as simile, metaphor, imagery, etc???

(I was just listening to the song "Sparrow's Point" thinking it was GREAT
for metaphor (and foreshadowing!!) but I'm afraid it might be too dirge-y
for today's teen.)

For that matter ANY song??
