I've also really liked what I've heard from Pesky J. Nixon, and am looking forward to hearing them live in December. I'm not going to make outright comparisons with Richard past or present, but the people I seem to be listening to most: Joe Crookston, Jud Caswell, Dave Potts, Rod Picott, Terence Martin. - -jim c Hey Folks - I'm constantly trying to stumble on the next band for which Ihave a similar Shindell-esque affinity. It's been awhile.I'm not 100% there yet, but after a few days of absorbing this band, Girlymanhas that potential (despite their awful name).Anyone ever hear of them? They brand themselves as "leading edge three-partharmony folk-pop".- -Laurence- -- ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V12 #49 ***********************************
