And is Nora going with her husband to Greenland? Is that a metaphor for something? << That's my sense of it as well, Martin. I think Greenland basically means exile, and not necessarily the country. As I recall, there's a Greenland in Conn. as well. The exile would fit in with the Abelard/Heloise story. One of my favorite misheard lyrics (monedgrens) is the one Charlie Hunter (Richard's former manager) told the list many years ago - apparently someone thought the line "drowning his vows at the bar" was "clowning around at the bar".
