Thanks. Carrie in KC soon to be back in Boynton Beach. Susan here, not Carol - I know she's in Tampa... and I'm in Pembroke Pines (about 30 minutes south of Ft. Lauderdale), very qualified to answer your question regarding east coast folk music... :-) I suggest going to http://gotfolk.com/cgi-bin/calendarscript/calendar.pl?month=12&view=Month&mon th=11, which pulls up the November calendar for our local gotfolk.com resource (Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties)... and you can click on each month for more information - I'm also going to send you, in a separate e-mail, a list I put together to distribute at our local concerts... Please don't hesitate to get in touch while you're down here - hope to see you at an event! Sorry my last email was kinda abrupt, I just cut and pasted my setlist without editing myself. But it was a great show, he had his full band and they were all very good. It was really a happy surprise to hear Wisteria and Best Western again. Sounds like he's beginning to start a new album, he said he was recording Stray Cow and I believe Satellites, a song I do not understand at all!! He says it takes place in Buenos Aires, about how there's a lot of demonstrations all the time but I don't hear that in the song! I hope someone posts a review of the Boulton Center concert, that's a great venue! Thanks for sharing the news, Ron! I'm tempted to arrange my summer vacation around the event. But first I need to sleep it over (1am here). And then check my bank account. Previous reports had made me veerry envious. Good night! PS: At first glance, all rooms (and rates) seem to be for two people or more. So if anyone might consider sharing a room, feel free to email me. ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V11 #90 ***********************************
