I agree with Ron and Chris that Blue Divide is a very much a romantic song. It's also beautifully done. I was wondering whether anyone ever seen Richard perform this song live. I've seen Richard many times (not as many as Ron, but many) and I haven't heard it. For the last few months most of my time has been spent offline, helping my mother through various injuries, medical procedures, surgeries, complications, etc. I just resumed a normal life around the time that the Silvio Rodriguez kerfuffle began. Anyway, I missed most of the posts from January up until that point. I'm vaguely aware that there was an EP (or maybe two?) released, but that availability was time-limited. By the time I learned there was a deadline, it had passed. Could someone tell me whether it's one or two EPs, and the name (or names)? If it's no longer possible to purchase them new, I'd like to start looking for them on e-bay. Thanks, Sandy P.S. I did -- finally! -- get the new album, and I'm loving it. I have yet to find a song I want to skip over (and that's extremely rare for me). ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 28 May 2009 22:51:28 -0400 From: Subject: Re: [RS] RS's recent EP (or EPs?) >> Could someone tell me whether it's one or two EPs, and the name (or names)? Here's the tracklist, and it's worth it if only for versions of "State of the Union" and "Balloon Man" that blow away the versions on the regular CD. 1. Get Up Clara -alt mix 2. Balloon Man -alt version 3. Mariana's Table -alt version 4. State Of The Union -demo version 5. I Am -unreleased 6.
