Hopefully RS will publish them on his website? Or, were they inadvertently omitted on the early cd releases? Probably not since there aren't any pockets...at least mine are glued. I'm enjoying the bonus cd so much I haven't even loaded NFN yet. I just ordered the CD Not Far Now, and although it's still early is it too late for the EP? I ordered via Richard's site since that seemed the best alternative for an early delivery (though there are already discounted prices with other vendors), and perhaps will always include the EP? Does anyone know if it's too late? I have no idea what Hideous Grin sounds like....so I hope I'll get to hear it. I'm sure I've missed the autograph--but I'll bring it along to a show one of these days I'm sure. Did anyone ever pay enough for Richard to paint their house? I ordered from the site and in the "comments for a gift purchase" I shamelessly begged from the EP. I would gladly pay extra. Like some other folks here, I missed the donation window due to being swamped by my own life. ...Carol On Sun, Mar 8, 2009 at 3:13 PM, Deana wrote: > I just ordered the CD Not Far Now, and although it's still early is it too > late for the EP? I was just on Richard's site when I noticed he has a little blurb under the Not Far Now's picture stating that Mariana's EP will soon be available. He wrote little notes about each song too. The only thing I'm a bit confused about is the blurb under Hideous Grin. It says it was: an out-take from one of the 1999 concerts that furnished the material for Courier. Recorded by Ben Wisch at the Emelin Theater (Mamaroneck, NY) on March 17, 1999. I don't think that year is correct though because I didn't know his music in 1999 and I remember we had plans to go one of the concerts at the Emelin Theater but didn't because of an ice storm. By the way, I am loving the new album! I really like Parasol Ants, a very visual and clever song. I also like the way he covered The Mountain. I had to give it a few listens first but I think he really did it justice. What was it called, and what did it have on it? Did they ever reissue it? Was it widely available? << It was called "Scenes From a Blue Divide," issued by Shanachie in 1995. It featured the studio version of "Are You Happy Now," plus live versions of the following five songs recorded at the Treestar Coffeehouse in Mt. Kisco, NY. 1. Fishing 2. The Things That I Have Seen 3. The Ballad of Mary Magdalene 4. Arrowhead 5. Are You Happy Now As far as I know, it had VERY limited distribution, and was never reissued.
