A very nice club - the one time I have been there before - but a tad pricey ( once you include the dinner ) - and a bit of a drive for me. Although a little bit expensive - the food is also delicious by the way. And I suppose it's not even all that expensive by NYC decent food standards. Sunday, March 22, 2009 http://www.townecrier.com/ Still - I am very excited to be seeing Richard soon. Been too long for me. Anyone else from the list going to this show? Also - could someone review for me the whole "Richard hurt his hand" - everything is OK now right? ( Please God. ) I though it was mostly just a "close call". Yes? I had a conversation recently with another folk music fan who seemed to believe otherwise - so I am reaching out here for the straight story. I assume Richard is playing a lot of stuff from the new CD. I look forward to seeing set list and notes from people who get to see the shows before mine - and after. This whole "follow-a-musician-on-their-list-serve-group" thing ( or "mailing-list thing" - if you prefer ) - anyway - this whole thing is at it's very best when someone like Richard has a brand new CD and is about to release it and tour in support of it. So the next couple of months promise to be G...R...E...A...T. ( Say the "great" like "Tony-the-Tiger" if you wish to achieve the desired effect - or - you could substitute Shreck instead I suppose... just drop the "R"... you could give it to a passing pirate ). Sorry...it's 220am and I'm a bit goofy... ok...goofier. See ya... Bob Paterson _________________________________________________________________ Express your personality in color!
