All Presidents make mistakes, and if the next 4 years are anything like the last 3 weeks, President Obama won't have time to do anything but apologize." Of course, people who can acknowledge their mistakes are the ones who learn from their mistakes. Then he made nonsense up: "Because of his perceived weakness, Kyrgyzstan plans to evict us from the Air Force base used to resupply our forces in Afghanistan." http://www.iht.com/articles/2009/02/10/opinion/edcooley.php More made-up nonsense: "Pakistan has released A.H Khan, provider of nuclear technology to our enemies, from house arrest." I'm not sure who A. H. Khan is. There is this man who's been released, and his release has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/feb/06/nuclear-pakistan-khan I do agree with Bill's disgust about the tax cheats: "He has appointed multiple tax cheats to his cabinet including his Secratary of the Treasurey who is the head of the IRS (I couldn't help feeling like a surf filling out my tax return this weekend - how about you?). I could go on and on." Other tax cheats didn't make it to their appointments, but, yes, Obama continued, to a lesser degree, the great American tradition of nominating corrupt people to office. Bush had legions of corrupt people in his administration, but IOIYAR. Then, Bill delivers the coup de grace: "Sometime in the future, I think Richard should do a childrens album. The first song could be called 'Hopey Changey Baby!" And after that, he can do "The Pet Goat" for Books On Tape. "Sorry. Sorry. I know dissent on this page is not appreciated. No more politics, really..." No, don't worry, Bill. We can bring this 'round to a music topic: / "Boy, the way Glen Miller played. Songs that made the Hit Parade. Guys like us, we had it made. Those were the days! Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days! And you knew where you were then! Girls were girls and men were men. Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again. People seemed to be content. Fifty dollars paid the rent. Freaks were in a circus tent. Those were the days! / I always appreciate someone who posts a political or religious comment then says, "No more comments, because we shouldn't be doing this."
