I had always heard that Gram Parsons had a hand in writing the Rolling Stones "Wild Horses", I NEVER knew he had recorded it himself until I was paging through a "best covers" site. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?i=361971&id=362032&s=143441 Again, for me, this would be a great RS cover. It's as cheerful as "Sonora's Death Row", and other than Cry, Cry Cry's "Fall on Me", I can't think of RS ever covering a main stream rock ballad. Has he ever covered, Bob Dylan?? I know he wasn't on "A Nod to Bob" and I've heard him state more than one that Dylan was a huge influence on him. Just my 5* cents worth on an old thread. ...Carol * Adjusted for inflation ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Jan 2009 23:06:53 -0500 From: rongrittz@aol.com Subject: Re: [RS] Richard covers Dave. >> Has he ever covered, Bob Dylan???
