That's why most legit archivists ask before taping. If the musician is not happy with the performance, may request that the tape be lost. It usually is. How about video? I mean, "sucks" is in the eye of the beholder. I know you asked, and I commend you for that. I just said that I was surprised that he agreed. Different stance than I recall him taking.
