I'm on a couple for specific artists but often I wish to throw something out there concerning another artist and it would be OT and therefore not welcomed. Thanks, I'm ansty to discuss Jorma Kaukonen...his latest CD. Saw him a couple weeks ago and he's on my mind (and in my heart) alot these days. :) thx! I was having a discussion about Cry3 with my wife and she said that John Gorka either was part of the group or toured with them and made the entire group eat meat when previously they were all vegetarian. I'm just wondering if anyone has any interesting history about Cry3. Were there any others besides Richard, Dar and Lucy who were official members of the group? How long did they exist? Also, from time to time, whoever was the opening act would join the group for a song or two. But mostly it was just the three of them for the one record and (I think) one long tour. It was really an amazing Falcon Ridge, perhaps my best; the complete atmosphere & vibe was almost perfect. All of Richard's performances were stellar so he could make amends for the very bad timing of playing at Club Passim on FRFF Thursday and I'm already officially obsessed with "State Of The Union". I was shocked though that Richard played his mainstage set sitting up. I do hope nobody will tell Vance :D Special kudos to Vanessa for recognizing me off my myspace pic :) I hope I didn't look to flabbergasted at first. I really enjoyed the last one. TH Rongrittz@aol.com wrote: > Billy Masters was an "unofficial" fourth member, as he backed them on lead guitar for most of their shows. The non-vegetarian AND smoker was Fred Eaglesmith... or should I say the "devil" they sure did have some fun together... I think it was one of those "point-in-time" kind of things that we got to enjoy... some magic :-) I don't remember how long the tour lasted but I know I attended about 4 of the shows ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V9 #141 ***********************************
