I noticed that, too, Ron. Tom, thanks for letting us know what's happening with the archives! The smoe archives are great but the search capabilities on grassyhill will be nice to have back. - --V On 8/1/07, Tom Neff wrote: > > sorry about that... the server where the archives live was supposed to > be relocated Friday night in what the tech people promised was a 12 > hour operation... we are now in Day 5 of that twelve hour operation. > It's becoming a major cluster**** for hundreds of sites. I know, I was looking forward to hearing Richard sing a Beatles song, too. Actually, that would have been a great idea to have performed "She's Leaving Home" as well. I pretty much only know the more popular Beatles songs but I'm sure I'm not the only one who was unfamiliar. That is so funny about that guy's reaction to being asked if he was "on the list." hehe. My friend Mira and I made tote bags with iron-on transfers that had a picture of a falcon saying, "What happens on the ridge stays on the ridge!" hehe. We got a few nice compliments out of that. :) I was just looking through old e-mails the other day (I'm notorious about forgetting to reply to them, so every so often I do a sweep to figure out just how horribly rude I've been) and I found an e-mail written to me by someone on this list who referred to it as "the Shin-dig." I love that. I always think it's funny how we've floated ideas for clever things to call the list and ourselves, but somehow "listers" and "the list" reign supreme--particularly since we're such a creative lot! My friend Jen came up for the weekend at FRFF and she loved, loved, loved Red Molly and bought a stack of their CDs. They definitely made a few fans over the weekend. Also, my friend Jill and I were part of the rush to the merch tent after Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers' set. They were great performers, FULL of energy and very fun. I'd definitely like to see them play again. - --V On 8/1/07, Janet Cinelli wrote: > > I was watching a show on PBS tonight (P.O.V. - Finding > Sean) and at the end they played the chorus to Never > Die Young by Lori McKenna with Richard singing > back-up!
