I'm not really sure why the idea of Richard doing a Phil Ochs song is so outrageous. It's not like webre talking about him doing "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" or something. I appreciate that the song was a new approach for Ochs, and was an attempt to stretch a musical genre, and I even admire his integrity, but I think that song is just awful. It's not that Icarus sucked at flying, he just overdid it. I can only imagine how he'd perform Crucifixion. I once asked if he would sing it and he said that he'd be happy to back me up if I would take the lead. Turns out he did not know about the restraining orders in 16 US states and 4 Canadian provinces against my ever attempting to sing again. - -Howie - -- Howie Lyhte howie@pobox.com - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Academic training was instrumental.
