I'm always a big fan of putting faces to the names. I'd be up for meeting at a nearby bar. I don't know the area, but I'm sure there's a place nearby where we could meet. I've convinced my brother, who saw Richard once with me (and is a borderline fan) to come with me. I've passively tried to organize pre-concert gatherings and mid-concert sightings in the past, but we've never gotten past the uniform approval stage. I'll go out on a limb and pick a place if nobody else is willing. If nothing else, you can all pass by and look at my brother and me sitting in a bar all by ourselves. Let me know if anyone is interested, and I'll pick a place. Even better, if someone knows of a place, let me know, and we'll make a plan. Every year when I renew my CD of-the-month membership I beg for more Richard. Good to see no one is listening :( I've been a big supporter since the late 1980's when I was in school at Penn, and I gotta say, I don't like where they're going. Oh well. At least he comes to the area often. Looking forward to next Sunday at Concerts Under the Stars! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 05 Aug 2006 09:33:38 -0400 From: Jean Rossner Subject: [RS] November! (Forgive me if this has already been mentioned and I missed it.) FYI: Richard's website says he's playing at Club Passim on Wednesday, November 8., but Passim's calendar says it's a two-night stand: both Wednesday and Thursday. (and Peter Mulvey is playing there the previous Saturday and Sunday. Whee!) "descend upon New York City", unless of course, he plays Ascent, which would be nice. - --------------------------------- See the all-new, redesigned Yahoo.com.
