"The initial reaction was that they found it irritating," Saravinovski said. "I'm not disputing what the residents are saying. I can't swallow some of the tracks like `Mandy.' "We have tried to reduce the sound and we are reviewing the songs. I don't mind Marry Manilow, but I'm more of an ABBA and Celine Dion fan." Is Mandy on the 'new one'? Maybe the third time is the charm and we'll agree on something?? Anyway, since we've all been anticipating the covers CD for quite some time now, how about a picture of any playbill for "Waiting for Godot." I'm tired of playing Lucky to his Pozzo. :) John McD. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Jul 2006 19:27:21 EDT From: DrTobs@aol.com Subject: [RS] Re: Pandora My 15 year old son turned me on to Pandora a few months ago. Somehow he went from Ben Folds to Richard Shindell on it, and while he has seen Richard twice with me (not his choice, but I wanted company!), he wasn't listening to him on his own, now he really likes him. Pandora is almost a musical "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon!" It's nice because you can also skip a song if it doesn't quite grab you. We are looking forward to seeing Richard on August 13th in King of Prussia, PA! Toby ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V8 #115 ***********************************
