This weekend I'm heading east to catch Mark Erelli open for Catie Curtis (Friday), Hem open for Josh Ritter (Saturday) and Lynn Miles (Sunday). so glad my music obsession keeps me off the streets. ;-) KarenZ (who mostly lurks) in Pittsburgh - -------------- Original message -------------- From: "kunigunda" > Well, I'm off early tomorrow morning for Pittsburgh. I got the impression it was something they recorded, but he was debating on its inclusion. But for what that's worth, I also remember being in the Emlin Theater and hearing the intro to 4th of July Asbury Park include "this is not going on the album..." I really liked his take on Acadian Driftwood, btw. I'm looking forward to hearing that again. - -jim ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 2 May 2006 10:06:09 -0400 From: "Adam Plunkett" Subject: RE: [RS] B.I.T.U.S.A. For what it's worth, I included BITUSA on that list because I thought someone said it was going to be on the new album. I have not heard him sing the song or talk about it. I know a lot of people are disappointed that certain songs he has sung in the past may not be on the album (if it be America or St Delores or whatever) but the new songs he has picked to cover in concert all fit in well and look forward to hearing them on the new album...even if all the covers are not the covers we may have had in mine when we heard he was making a live album. Acadian Driftwood and Senor, in particular, I think should be great on album. I believe RS said he was mixing for the last time next week so maybe it wont be all that long until we get to hear it. > From: jcolb@barashgroup.com> Subject: [RS] B.I.T.U.S.A.> Date: Tue, 2 May 2006 08:20:21 -0400> To: shindell-list@smoe.org> > > Date: Mon, 1 May 2006 13:18:16 -0400> > From: "Adam Plunkett" > > Subject: RE: [RS] Richard Thompson Cover?> >> > At the Godfrey Daniels show in April Richard introduced Born in the USA > by saying it probably wouldn't be making it on the new album.
