Anyone who has played for a significant amount of time knows that, when shopping for guitars, what matters is the guitar, not the name engraved into the headstock. However, following this paradigm, I have not come to own any Taylors. I have heard some that sound good, but whenever I have shopped around for a new instrument, I have always found something else that sounded more like what I was looking for. Thought some of you might want to know that Cliff Eberhardt, another gifted singer-songwriter is playing a gig at "Outpost In The Burbs" , at a church in Montclair, New Jersey this Friday night. Go to _www.outpostintheburbs.org_ (http://www.outpostintheburbs.org) , not .com . As of last count - it was NOT yet sold out. Cliff is great. I highly recommend him. Anyone know of any RS- Cliff Eberhardt connections? I know of one - Cliff is buds with Dar, Richard is buds with Dar. Condoleeza Rich is buds with Dar ( oh no... wait.... that's Jill Sobule that's buds with Condoleeza - they went to the same school ). 2. Anybody else get the new Springsteen CD yet - Devils and Dust??? I personally gave Richard a copy of the Devils and Dust single two weeks ago - and he was happy to hear that there was a NEW Sprigsteen CD on the way ( Guess they don't follow Bruce that intensely down in Argentina). A few comments about Springsteen OK??? Or is it outside the bounds of this list? I like the new CD - but have seen several bad reviews and one very very bad review. Has Richard had anything to say at any of his shows? ok... got to run... see ya... Glad I'm over my guitarabies.
