I told them he has played many, but was currently playing a Taylor. They all got a surprised looks on their faces and asked me if I was sure, as Taylors were not in the same league as others, namely Martins which they had alot of hanging on the wall. I told them I doubted if R would play an inferior sounding/playing instrument but they couldn't believe it. I guess because you usually see entertainers with Martins? I've owned a few Martin guitars over the years, but fell out of love with each one eventually. I've played many Taylors and never felt I had to own one - -- yet, who knows? This probably says more about me than the guitars. You're likely right that RS would never use an inferior guitar to record or perform.
