Aw man, you couldn't lie to us and pretend you're still working on it to ease us through? (: Sounds like it's going to be a wonderful record, with a lot of nice textures in the music. And nearly-all acoustic sure works in my book. (One thing I was wondering, any harmonies, or are all vocals RS?) Thank you Ron for passing this along and for Richard for sharing and keeping us updated. Hmm, which does seem like the opportune time to say "and speaking of Heinz ketchup, a Pittsburgh tour date would be cool when it comes out!" Ah, you can't blame me for trying and hoping. This is not listed on either Club Passim's website or Richard's agent website. Sometimes the calender for UMB does have mistakes but I am trying to figure out if he is playing there tomorrow or not. Does anyone know? If he is, all of Passim's shows are webcast via their website. - - Adam __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Does anyone know? I would assume that this is an error. Since Richard is scheduled to play Passim on April 6th, nearly a month to the day after tomorrow, it's possible that WUMB mixed up their months. In any case, I just gave Passim a call and no one is manning the phones yet; I'll try back a little later to see if I can reach someone. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 4 Mar 2004 07:18:40 -0800 (PST) From: adam plunkett Subject: Re: [RS] Richard Shindell gig They tend not to answer their phones....great place to see music but they really need to get some PR going on. Then, every year, they have a finraiser show which costs 100 bucks! (Granted they get big names - Richard Thompson, Peter Mulvey, and Mark Erelli this year; Odetta, Greg Brown, and Garnet Rogers last year which I went to because I won free tickets on UMB) Maybe I will just call and reserve my tix for next month. UMB's schedule is probably a typo. But in April, anyone can watch it via their website. Adam - --- rfoxwell@wso.williams.edu wrote: > > I would assume that this is an error. The better place to go is the Fleming site: http://www.flemingartists.com/sh-itin.html I'm sure the list is not comprehensive, but I do see a Chicago date.
