Lucy opened with news this will be her last show for 2 months since she and her husband are off to China to become parents and pick up their adopted daughter. As always when these two get together, Richard did some superb back up guitar and vocal harmonies and did his own set. One song, Cancion, was entirely in Spanish and was beautiful melodically but since my Spanish is not up to Ricky Martin class I would appreciate it if any listers have a translation or know where I could get one. A few times I heard chuckles from the audience. Did Richard toss in a funny line? ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 Oct 2003 19:00:36 +0100 From: "Paul Mepschen" Subject: [RS] Claire Holley After the relatively recent discussion on Kris Delmhorst, I thought I might as well suggest another artist -- Claire Holley -- her latest is called Dandelion. Makes me think of Kris, but also of Kate Campbell, with a very modern sound nonetheless. Dandelion: go for it! paul of the netherlands ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V5 #235 ***********************************
