Subject: [RS] Fave I hadn't listed to my RS cd's in awhile. I took them to work today and started listening to them. (Thank god for a job that lets me do that!) While listening I realized what my favorite two songs of Richards are: Cold Missouri Waters and Sonora's Death Row Then... I realized that not only is one a Cry Cry Cry tune, but both songs are freakin' cover tunes! And as much as I absolutely love "Wisteria," "Are You Happy Now," "Transit," etc.... It's these two songs that ALWAYS move me to tears when I hear them. It's not just the songs themselves. It's R's interpretation of them. I've heard the original versions, and (I'm sure Richard would disagree, but...) they don't compare to R's versions. Am I crazy, or does anyone else feel that way?
