There are many parallels to the song and similar ideas explored within the show. The artistic director is a woman named Agnes (as in St. Agnes's choir ... odd coincidence) Wilcox, who has devoted many years to this project. One of the inmates participating in the production speaks about her, and how her efforts in producing the play and her interactions with the inmates allow him to feel human for that period of time before returning to the routine of prison life. It's very compelling and I think Richard would be interested in hearing it if someone (Scott?) could forward him the link. Kate Ps I wish I played the guitar so I could buy one of Richard's. ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 16 Aug 2003 16:43:49 EDT From: Rongrittz@aol.com Subject: Re: [RS] Richard & Hamlet >> I wish I played the guitar so I could buy one of Richard's. << Well, it seems that if we wait long enough, eventually everyone on this list will probably own one! The Martin CEO4-R was sold to a list member this week, and as with the other three guitars, I hope that when the new owner gets it and plays it for a while, that he'll give us a complete review.
