I received my copy of The Sonora Sessions the other day--thanks to Richard 
and Scott for making them available, and at a very fair price.  The whole 
disk is excellent, but Richard's take on Sonora's Death Row is brilliant.  
I've seen him do this song live on several occasions, and I continue to think 
his is the definitive version.  You can hear the narrator's regret in every 
word.
