I also saw Richard in Westport, and I believe that the comment was not aimed 
at the people in the audience i.e., Fairfield County, just to Americans in 
general as a prosperous nation.  If you recall he immediately went into "The 
Island" which is a song about "The Have and The Have Nots" as he put it 
during the concerts in Montclair, NJ;  and Portsmouth, RI.

I also saw him at Ramapo College about a month ago.  All the concerts had a 
different tone and feel, and all were excellent.  I can't wait to see him 
next month in New York, and am contemplating getting tickets to the Hartford 
show in Feb.  I find it really interesting to hear the progression of the new 
songs from the raw unfinished, to later concerts when they are basically 
complete and sounding ready for recording.  I think this next album will be 
quite powerful, as they all are.

I agree with you Vanessa, Richard is a man I would love to see way more
often...even on video!

I think the world also needs a Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer concert/s video.
I don't think I could ever tire of hearing Dave's voice, his stories, and
seeing him perform his amazing songs sung so lovingly with Tracy....in some
pretty wonderful places. That his spiritual path has changed, and we no
longer can see his face, a video would certainly allow us to keep his
passions alive if proceeds went directly to:
