Which is kind of cool, cause that means it will always be in print. Be forewarned though, the ff releases can be a very mixed bag, especially when they started going to CD format. (I mean, I'm a poetry fan, but that definately wasn't what i subsribed to FF for.) On the other hand, you also stumble across some great tracks by people like rod macdonald, michael jerling and eddy lawrence. I would recommend starting with any of the live shows first. It's gonna be an expensive proposition to collect them all... I don't have the whole disc, but the one with May on it has an extra verse - or at least a few extra lines- from the one we're familiar with, btw. (Opinions seemed mixed on this. I like the extra verse just cause it seems to balance the song a little better.) WYEP is the one in Pittsburgh, no? Vanessa, you'll want to check them out when ya get there...they used to do some quality live shows years ago; now I only hear them when we're passing through but they still have some good stuff. Andy, I can e-mail it to you, but it may take a couple days, as my room is in a state of disrepair. (Gearing up to move in August). Maybe you could make a donation to the Sep. 11 relief fund of your choice? However much you want. - --V, posting this to the list because she'd be happy to make the same offer to anyone else Andrew Bonime wrote: >Does anybody have the MP3 of "I Am"? So I was looking thru some downloads I made two months ago and discovered that Richard AND Lucy are booked into the "Concerts Under The Stars" in Upper Merion, Pennsylvania ( near King Of Prussia) this coming Sunday at 7pm. I live in northern New Jersey near Paramus. But I am thinking of making the trip. Has anyone been to this venue? It says on their website that it costs 9 bucks ( a bargain). Do you have to pay extra to park? How long will it take me to get there? ( I'd guess 3 hours... but I wish it was two). Is anyone else from northern New Jersey going? Want to share a ride? ( No serial killers... sorry). And... "Waiting For Columbus" is one of the greatest live rock albums ever made (IMHO). Kudos to Jim Colbert for his fine review. BTW, Little Feat does still exist. They play NYC once in a while. They have a female lead singer now. Don't know if they still play "Willin". It might help if you gave us the website! Sorry... indeed it might. Check out: www.umconcerts.org They are having Dar on aug. 11th, Gorka on Aug 18th, and KARLA BONOFF on Sept. 1 Who else has that first Karla Bonoff album. Man is that great. Sorry... but I figured someone would ask... Not only does Little Feat still exist, but they are headlining this year's Green River Music Festival at Greenfield Comm College in Greenfield MA(July 20). It is a gem of a festival that seemingly no one knows about. This year's performers, beside Little Feat, include the Avalon Blues Tour(Dave Alvin, Peter Case, and Chris Smither), Fred Eaglesmith, Mary gauthier, Tim O'brien and the Crossing, among others.
