I should mention that I am a huge admirer of Bob Dylan's work and that, the listening of Richard's songs got me the same warms of the soul that those of BD. Probably that somebody has already pointed out the intensity of this version of Transit which we find in the archives of ACOUSTIC CAFI (http://www.mlive.com/cafe/index.ssf?/cafe/archive.html). If you never heard this sublime version, click on the "Richard Shindell" link and right drag the time slider to 18:21. RealPlayer is required here. Hope to read your comments soon Gilbert ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 11:20:07 -0400 (EDT) From: gillam_gregory Subject: [RS] A special good tool Hi,This is a special good tool I expect you would enjoy it. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 11:20:27 -0400 (EDT) From: jsavage Subject: [RS] A very new website Hello,This is a new website I wish you would like it. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 17:05:28 -0700 From: eric Subject: Re: [RS] A very new website >Hello,This is a new website >I wish you would like it. i wish you would like to go away. - - eric ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 23:55:19 -0700 From: "Sandra J. Transit is one of my favorite RS songs and it was a treat to hear another rendition of it. Sandy - -- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 23:56:53 -0700 From: "Sandra J. I was lucky enough to hear him sing it live on the day the Church of the Nativity was liberated; that gave it an added depth. It's available on "Wonderland", a benefit disk put together by Signature Sounds (http://www.signature-sounds.com/), and it should still be available. Also on the disk are Nerissa and Katryna Nields, Peter Mulvey, Rani Arbo, Erin McKeown, and a bevy of other known and not so well known artists doing winter and christmas songs. Better than any "Now That's What I Call Christmas" album. jeff. - -- "And then one day they stopped asking.
