I've been getting some back-channel mail from some of you about blank "mystery posts" that you've been getting from the RS list over the last week or so. Just so you know you're not alone, I've been getting about one of these weird/wierd emails per day over the last week myself. These seem to be virus related, so be careful not to open any attachments (many of mine have had .zip files attached). If possible, over the next few days, if you get one, please send me the name of the person from whom the email came, and what the subject line says. Send it to me, not to the whole list, please. Just include the information in a message to me with the subject line "RS Posts." I'd like to check the addresses against the list of subscribers to see if these are internal or external gremlins. Thanks muchly. RG ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 May 2002 10:31:35 -0700 From: "Sandra J. Smith" Subject: RE: [RS] ADMIN: Blank posts. I got the same e-mail at the same time. It is a far better machine, OS X eliminates most of the old compatibility problems, and almost no one writes viruses for the mac because they occupy such a small percentage of the market. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 May 2002 23:00:12 +0100 From: "Dave McKay" Subject: [RS] RE: viruses > I have a Macintosh.
