Just moved here from Jersey and am suffering from withdrawl! Used to go into NYC all the time, now I saw that he's not playing here or even anywhere close!! Do I have to go back to NYC just to see him? Help! I have the chords to "Abuelita", but they do not sound correct. The chords came from "members.aol.com/rongrittz/page2/shindell.htm' Is there a site that gives the fingering that RS uses in more detail ? I've found Ron's chords for "Abuelita" to be pretty much spot-on. Have you capoed your guitar to the seventh fret as prescribed? I suggest if you ever have trouble with Ron's chords, you talk directly to Ron. I guarantee you, no one has spent more time transcribing/watching/obsessing(oh come on Ron, you know its true) over Richard's playing than Ron. He can probably give you some very helpful hints to help Abuelita sound better (and possibly some more advanced tips that he doesn't put on the site). He has always helped me. And that is no mean feat, believe me! Happy you and the other new listers have signed on! It came with Nero burning software, which is causing me to tear my hair out -- e.g. the help files DO NOT MATCH the pop-ups, etc.... my problem is I cannot for the life of me figure out how to tell it to let me record a "multisession" CD, that is, all I want, honest, is to make a compilation CD to play in the car, of certain favorite songs. (Naturally, some RS is included.) some of them are on the hard drive as .wav files ('cause I couldn't se ehow else) but some aren't (I have another CD drive). It simply refuses to leave it open for additional tracks to be recorded and/or it changes the TYPE of session .... SO, the question is: 1) anyone out there a whiz with this miserable Nero program? 2) because I am about to go buy something else, any recommendations??? Thanks much any of you techies out there. lisa davis ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V4 #84 **********************************
