He was laughing so hard that he had to stop singing at some points and collect himself. There's a lot in the archives from a few years ago on this subject. It's worth taking a look-see at. - --V Jennifer Coia wrote: >"RS reading doesn't sound to me to be a >comic delivery" > >My original comment on this was that until I heard it live, I never realized it's comic quality. Now, I know they were just acting out of frustration. Frasier: So, when Billy Kriedle tried to stuff you into your locker after math class, he wasn't mad at you. He was mad at Pythagoras!" Niles: Mmm. Which is ironic, because a simple volume equation would have shown him I couldn't fit. Don't you know - Disneyland is the happiest place on earth??????? E Who must visit the Magic Kingdom once a year. Which has a great deal to do with my need to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean and eat Carnation Ice Cream. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 08 Mar 2002 15:46:15 -0500 From: Tom & Samantha Subject: [RS] First Posting Hi All! I just wanted to introduce myself as an official "newbie", and say that I've been thoroughly in love with Mr. Shindell since I saw him open for Dar Williams when I was a freshman in college, say about 5 years ago :) Something about a man with a guitar really singing his heart out does it for me. I just had one question... is "She's in Spain" on the bonus EP that comes with Courier when you buy two of them? I absolutely love that song and was surprised to see that it was not in the album song list of Courier. If it's not, that's fine, :( I'll still get two (one for me and my best friend in the whole wide world, of course) I was just wondering. Hope to get some answers and to help you guys out on some of your questions soon! Just moved here from Jersey and am suffering from withdrawl! Used to go into NYC all the time, now I saw that he's not playing here or even anywhere close!! Do I have to go back to NYC just to see him? Help! I've been a fan of Richard since the Cry Cry Cry CD came out--and a fan of Dar since about 1995 or 96. I've been lucky enough to see both Dar and Lucy live in the last six months, but I still haven't managed to see Richard. I live in central Virginia, so one of these times he comes to the Birchmere... I was really interested to find out that Richard went to Moravian, as I'm originally from Bethlehem--lived there until the late 80's. It sort of frustrates me--quite illogically--that I was there in the same town and could have seen him play. Except of course, I wasn't old enough, and I probably wouldn't have appreciated his music anyway. Alas. Anyway, I really enjoy both Somewhere Near Patterson and Courier, and I plan on picking up the earlier albums soon. Thank you all for the intersting discussions.
