I see it's got one of my favorite michael jerling's on there too, long black wall...although I always loved the gorka reading of it... At it's best fast folk introduced me to a lot of stuff, but they seemed pretty disorganized from a consumer's point of view (without me getting into specific hairy details) and after they went to CDs I thought their quality really started slipping; by the time I bailed I'm told they were down to about one good song an issue. Anyway, it does look like a great set and I'll likely get it, but I truly don't believe they're all unreleased versions. Hard to find versions, yes, possibly never on CD before, in some cases, but some of it sounds awfully familiar... btw, did you know richard was associate editor for a while? 'tis true. jpc somewhere near heading down to the Brewed Awakenings coffee shop to hear john garbala play ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V4 #42 **********************************
