I was deconstructing Dar Williams's Spring Street. In the Spring, I was play Calling the Moon alot. I was listening to EmmyLou Harris and Spyboy in the early Summer. Deeper Well, Green Pastures, Red Dirt Girl still occupied my cd player. June and July belonged to "every single day" every single day and then some. When i found Oh Abraham in mid summer, I was stuck there until fall. I also saw Gorka alot this summer and CLock without hands and the late summer belonged to SEX TIME LOVE and mary chapin carpenter. early fall, I was listening world music, Olo dara, Ozomatli from LA, then Natalie Merchant's entire Motherland cd, This House is On Fire, Just Cant Last. Gillian Welch's TIME the Revelator was in my player alot and still is but September changed my world. The Most striking song of the year was "wayfaring stranger". I seemed to find it everywhere, including the Wayfaring Stranger release, Shifting Sands of Time. When i could listen to music again and hear it, the fall belonged to all sorts of prayer songs. Songs of the comfort to me. The year ended with the buddy and julie miller, Roches, Suzanne Vega's new cd in red and gray, and the year ended with kris delmhorst's cd and norah jones's ep-first sessions, diana krall and Timeless a tribute to Hank Williams and in my cd player now..Richard Shindell. i still listen to Wayfaring stranger at least once a week. sharon sharonG I was chasing grace and grace aint so easily found slaid cleaves - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: Click Here ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Jan 2002 12:15:01 -0800 (PST) From: rae@ecis.com Subject: [RS] Top 10 Albums & Top Songs Okay here are both of my lists.
