Thanks for the stories, E and Smoky. Actually I was hyperbolizing (is that a word?) a bit there. In truth I felt much better soon afterward when Richard explained that it was a promotional model and when I heard that C Fox brought him another one that he apparently liked a lot. Initially I was more upset than embarrassed. Guitars can be such personal possessions. I have one or two that have been with me for a long time that I would be very sad to part with. So I was glad to find out this one wasn't that kind. The main thing is how great Richard was about it all.
