Johnson" Subject: [RS] Lucy @ Iron Horse Lucy gave a wonderful show last night at the Iron Horse. The opening act, whose name I can't recall (John H something) was pretty ood. He had a song that could fit into the Lucy angry triology that's well past a triology called "Too bad for you". Guy who's been dumped tells his ex about all the self improvement he's made and the repeated line is "Too bad for you". "I read Russian novels Too bad for you I make 6 figure salary Too bad for you" Lucy mentioned that Richard will be signing harmony on her new album that should appear in either August or Sept. She told of how she had to grab Richard as he was on his way to the airport so that he could do the harmony on one of her songs. Lucy sang "Don't Mind Me", the song that Lucy was asked to write for that upcoming Sherman Alexie movie. Lucy also said she hasn't heard anything about the status of the movie. About "Don't Mind me" Lucy said it was a chance to write an upbeat song that wasn't depressing. Lucy san two of the Cry3 songs-- "I know what kind of love" and "By way of sorrow". The highlight for me was her rendetition of "Ten Year Night". I've never heard her do it better. There was something magical about it. Oh, maybe it was because sharon was singing harmony. ;-) Norman ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2001 20:12:08 EDT From: Sdgold60@aol.com Subject: [RS] richard will sing.. thanks i was at the iron horse for sure.. in spirit richard will sing with lucy on the louvin brothers.. angels rejoiced in heaven last night.... that is the one song.. he harmonies too gorka is on the cd. and jennifer kimball and buddy miller and larry campbell and duke levine and jon herrington.. all the men are out for lucy.... open your eyes and look at me.. look at me...
