Actually the fun of a mix tape to me is just that: the MIX. So my friend Sylvia and I are famous (well, ok, infamous, well uhm, somewhat known for) these crazy mix tapes where a section from Bach will blend into Laura Nyro who connects to Talking Heads who fades into Lucinda Williams, etc. etc. Sometimes we will create tapes where the lyrics of each song, when taken together, tell a story. Or whatever. The only rule is there are none! Must appeal to the Emma Goldman in me. So you never know where Richard songs will pop up in a mix...
